M E J O R
The album Mejor aims to transform latin pop music into a platform for sparking conversations about mental health, breaking down stigmas, and supporting those going through similar journeys.
At its core, Mejor is a reflection of Luis Gamarra’s own path toward healing. Every song was born from moments of vulnerability, the challenges he faced with his mental health and the lessons he discovered through therapy, self-reflection, and growth. The album stands as both a testimony to that process and an invitation for others to find strength in their own stories.
PURPOSE
Mejor is an artistic manifesto built around three essential purposes:
1. Mental Health
Through its songs, the album opens conversations about mental health, breaks stigmas, and offers companionship to those navigating their own processes of healing and self-discovery.
2. Social Impact
More than an album, Mejor seeks to become a tool for transformation, transcending the personal to stand as a platform for emotional and social change.
3. Collective Collaboration
The project brings together Bolivian artists from diverse backgrounds and musical styles, including Alwa, Aliss, Belén Bowles, and Mariana Massiel to form a network of voices united by art, empathy, and action during a defining moment for the country.
Presented by Pepsi: A Concert of Healing
In partnership with Pepsi, Mejor came to life through an immersive live experience that blended music, storytelling, and emotional connection. The event began with Luis sharing his journey with mental health, followed by a guided meditation, and concluded with a live concert where the audience connected deeply with themselves and the music.
