In collaboration with the European Union and its Global Gateway program, Luis Gamarra created “Unidos Somos Futuro,” a song that celebrates unity and the preservation of our forests.
Mejor: Pop Music that Heals
Mejor aims to transform latin pop music into a platform for sparking conversations about mental health, breaking down stigmas, and supporting those going through similar journeys.
DE VIAJE: A Jorney to Healing
In partnership with UNICEF, the song “De Viaje” became part of a national mental health campaign, bringing its message of empathy and self-care to thousands of people in public markets, women’s shelters, schools, universities, and trans homes.
Share the Stage
Luis Gamarra has opened for major Latin artists including Camilo, Sebastián Yatra, Carlos Vives, Morat, and more, bringing his unique blend of socially conscious and emotionally resonant music to thousands of concertgoers.
LIBRE for Equality
Libre is a deeply personal album in which Luis Gamarra publicly embraces his truth as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Through its songs, he uses music as a platform to advocate for visibility and rights in Bolivia, a country that continues to face significant challenges around LGBTQ+ equality and social acceptance.
Yo Soy Inmigrante
While a student at Berklee College of Music, Luis Gamarra composed “Yo Soy Inmigrante” (“I Am an Immigrant”) to honor the immigrant experience in the United States. Sponsored by BerkleeICE and featured by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the project brought together over 50 musicians and dancers from diverse backgrounds in a powerful celebration of cultural diversity and resilience.
Sonidos Bolivianos
Sonidos Bolivianos was Luis Gamarra’s first project, created to provide greater opportunities for young Bolivian musicians. As the sole Bolivian student at Berklee College of Music, Luis spearheaded a collaboration between Berklee and Bolivia, organizing auditions and offering scholarships to talented Bolivian musicians.
